Rockin' It Old School

B00005jkty01_ss500_sclzzzzzzz_v114036880I got home this evening and I had a package waiting for me. I had ordered the Schoolhouse Rock! DVD with all 46 songs ever made. It's awesome!

I'm excited to show this DVD to my 7-year old niece! I learned so much with these songs:

- Like how a bill becomes a law

- How to multiply by 3

- What a conjunction is

- The American Revolution

- Electricity

- The value of zero (My hero)

Good times!

Classics! Makes me want to buy the set for my kids.

Bill, you're a law!

conjunction, junction
What's your function...
I love that song!

I'm just a bill on capital hill...sweet pick up!

Those songs are the background of our childhood years. Trips me out!

Great pick up!

I just ordered it for my daughters's birthday

I feel a sermon illustration coming on...

I remember learning the Preamble to the Constitution just in time for my social studies final thanks to Schoolhouse Rock. I still know it to this day! A great teaching tool for sure.

Does my memory serve me wrong, or didn't you have a "Conjunction Junction" bumper sticker on that old beater of a car you had back when you were dating Carey & first started coming to CCFL? I only remember that obscure piece of trivia because I thought I was the only grownup that quietly sang the immortal words: "What's your Function." Thanks for this post, Bob: I feel like I can come outta the closet, as this post has revealed that EVERYONE in our age group was (is?) a fan.

BTW, that car was such a piece of junk that I always thought that that bumper sticker kept it from falling apart.

I did have a conjunction Junction sticker on my car. I totally forgot about that until you mentioned it and Carey confirmed it. Man, I'm getting old. I do remember that car was a piece of junk though!
