There's a couple of blogs that I recently added to my blogroll that you may or may not know about. They've got great stuff, so check them out...
Bill LaMorey - Bill was our administrator here in Miami until he went to go plant Calvary Fellowship in Hartford, CT. He's a Yankees fan, but please don't hold it against him. Actually, feel free to hold it against him! New England belongs to the Red Sox! Period. Anyway, he just started blogging, so give him a warm welcome. He's one of the funniest guys I know and he's the only one that understands the code that he and I speak in, which is layers of 80's heavy metal lyrics. Now that he's gone, there's nothing funny about quoting a line from a Judas Priest song at a staff meeting, when no one else gets it. If you don't believe me, you've got another thing comin'!
Travis Johnson - Travis is a cool guy that's pastoring a great church in Homestead, which is just south of Miami. It's where people go who want to buy a home that actually has a yard. The area is exploding and 1,000's of people moving there. So I'd watch for big things from him. He understands Miami and is meeting in a movie theatre, which makes him as cool as the other side of the pillow.
Michael Foster - Never met him, but I like the way he thinks. I like the dudes he reads. He's passionate about the Gospel, the church, and Guinness. I like that he's planting a church in Cincinnati (even though saying the name of the city reminds me of the 1975 World Series). And no, I wasn't there. I was 2 in 1975. I watched it years later. But it Boston, you relive painful experiences like this just for fun.
Jonathan Herron - I don't know Jonathan, but I love his passion for the Gospel and people. It shows in what he writes and in his leap of faith to plant a church in Kent, Ohio.
Bob,
Thanks for the props! My life too is not the same without our daily conversations on things pertaining to life here on Earth and things that transcend "Beyond the Realms of Death"!

Bob,
Thanks, man. I feel bad that you are sending your readers over to check me out right now. I just happen to be in a full blown civil war with my wife regarding a toilet seat. Our private conversation went public on her blog (according to dan ohlerking, this is why he doesn't allow his wife to blog). Of course, I retaliated on mine.
The pastoral facade has been totally destroyed. Thanks for the link love.

I know Priest. But you had to be in middle school when Screaming for Vengence came out. Or younger.

Bryon,
Screaming for Vengeance came out in '83 (If I remember correctly). I was 10. So that would be 5th grade for me.
