I've been in 3 bookstores in the last week and walked out empty handed. That's a first for me. I've got 2 books in the pipeline, but after that... I'm out of bullets!
I've got a gift certificate to Borders and Barnes and Noble and they're burning a hole in my pocket!!!
Are there no good books left, or have I simply hit a dry spell? We'll see...
(Maybe it's time to re-read something)
suggest "A Tale of Three Kings" - should be read yearly by every leader...

Maybe you need to find something older and less "cool" to read.
Here are a few suggestions:
"The Greatest Thing in the World" - Henry Drummond
"Competent to Counsel" - Jay Adams
"How to help people change" - Jay Adams
"True Spirituality" - Francis Schaeffer
"The Life of Faith" - Richard Baxter
You would probably really like Francis Schaeffer, he was missional before missional was cool.

If you haven't check it out yet..and....Being a former rocker you may want to check out.... Brian "Head" Welch's autobio. Former Korn guitarist. Pretty fascinating look at life before and after Christ.

did you read Body Piercing Saved My Life by Andrew Beaujon?
You liked that The Rest of God by Mark Buchanan. He's has some good books out. Thing Unseen I enjoyed. The Holy Wild was good. Your God Is Too Safe was off the chain.

I just finished the following 2:
1) "Culture Shift" by Wayne Cordeiro & Robert Lewis
2) "The Lamb & the Fuhrer" by Ravi Zacharias (from the "Great Conversations" series)
Both worth the time.
Thanks for recommending the Andy Stanley book and the Money Matters book. I ordered them both on Amazon before leaving for vacation. They should be waiting for me when I return home this weekend.
Blessings
